When using Apple Garage Band’s pre-count feature, keep in mind that the recording starts exactly on the first beat of the measure. Therefore, if your take starts earlier, let’s say, on the upbeat of the fourth bit of the pre-count measure (the “and” part of the “one-and-two” way of counting)t the software is not going to catch this beat.
