We were on the verge to trash this broken little useful mic with a camera (you can hardly call it a ‘camera’ with a mic) because no repair shop was eager to just have a look at it. However, we have stumbled upon a Youtube repair video and decided to give it a try. It worked, and now the Q2n is back.
Why did not we just buy another second hand or even the upgraded, 4k version? Because, simply put, it was not necessary. An effort of just a couple of hour solved the matter, and we spared a couple of hundred Euros. And, as far performance are concerned, 4k and more megapixel are not such a big deal for a static, fixed aperture, plastic lens with a small sensor.
