By default Big Sur and Monterey do not load the kernel extension allowing the Zoom TAC-2 to work. After installing the drivers it is necessary to go to Preferences-Security&Privacy-General and click the ‘Allow’ button in the right-down corner of the interface. Once done, the operating system will allow the Zoom TAC-2 extension to load properly. Ex post the solution was obvious. However, Zoom’s website did not mention it and the fix came by trying what a message in the Steinberg’s helpcenter suggested.
