Gear

Guitars are our arsenal’s bigger part, but we’re plenty of basses and electronics too…

On It took a while (our first CD) we played an Eko SA-396 , a Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite, an Alhambra 11P. A 5 strings Yamaha TRB Nathan East a 4 strings Steinberger XQ-2A and “classical” Fender Jazz basses complete the set.

D’Addario strings (both classical and electric) are “the choice”, while for Steinberger stuff we use LaBella strings.

FX, ampli’s  are entirely software based (unless we told, BTW, you wouldn’t have imagined that all the sounds are coming from a Line6 Toneport UX8) But we got some “good ol’ times” ampli, like the Hughes&Kettner ATS Sixty and a Marshall JCM 800.

Our home recording studio is made by a 15” Apple MacBook Pro (well, not exactly the latest model :)) running Logic Pro X, a Line6 TonePortUX8 – plus, sometimes, a Zoom TAC-2 audio converter and a Zoom U24 audio interface. Acoustic tracks are captured by an SE Electronics Gemini 5, a Neumann TLM102 , a Stam Audio SA-87 and SA-47FET, and a couple of AKG c451b and a Zoom H6 field recorder.

When we go live, we use a Zoom Livetrak L-8.
