The SlackFire is an Italian trio (plus a bunch of electronics and software, see Gear<\/a>, if want to know more).<\/p>\n

Giampiero Vuolo is a flamenco guitar player and composer. Fabio Marzoli is “the” bass player, while Andrea Monti plays electric  and classical guitar(s), basses and runs the “Apple stuff”.<\/p>\n

What does this name come from? No, although we like open source<\/a>, we’ve anything to do with Linux Slackware<\/a> firewall. We choose the name because when we’re out of duty we’re all “slacky” guys, while the fire is still burning.<\/p>\n

We play the music we like (but this tell you nothing, about what<\/strong> we like:))… well, to put it short, each member of the trio spent a huge load of time listening at Dream Theater<\/a>, Marcus Miller<\/a>, Pink Floyd<\/a>, Al Di Meola<\/a>, Deep Purple<\/a>, Yngwie Malmsteen<\/a>, Brent Mason<\/a>, Vinnie Colaiuta<\/a>, Mark Egan<\/a>, Stanley Clarke<\/a>, Larry Coryell<\/a>,  Bill Connors<\/a>, Ana Vidovic<\/a>,  Paco De Lucia<\/a>, Berta Rojas<\/a>, Vicente Amigo<\/a>, Gerardo Nunez<\/a> (just to name a few.)<\/p>\n
